A former editor who is also connected to a global publication has revealed how he lost his job as a result of accepting a Sh10,000 bribe to remove an article that exposed the scandalous Kenyan pilot Eric Agola Lugalia.
Bonface Santeh, the now ex-editor of the global continentreveals.co.ke media house, is now languishing in poverty and is calling upon well-wishers to help him meet his daily demands.
” A male journalist approached me with Sh 10,000; he told me that I eat Sh 7,000 and he takes Sh 3,000. I never knew that the said deal would cost me my job, and for sure, that is how I’m a jobless man,” Santeh narrated.
Eric Agolla Lugalia, a city pilot, was arrested and charged in Kenyan courts for allegedly fabricating documents to obtain Ksh250 million worth of land in Karen, Nairobi, according to the media outlet. The accused, Eric Agola Lugalia, allegedly forged the documents, intending to defraud the land belonging to Stuart Gerald Cullinan Herd.
Ironically, the case was later withdrawn after Lugalia admitted to the fraud charges; the withdrawal of the case made the pilot enter into a state of denial to clear his name.
In this case, Agolla had defrauded Stuart Gerald Cullinan Herd of his land.
For the record, the herd is a businessman and the rightful owner of the disputed land in Karen, Nairobi. Herd has been entangled in a lengthy legal battle to reclaim his property and seek justice against those who attempted to defraud him.
According to the court papers, the land in question, valued at Ksh250 million, is situated in the affluent suburb of Karen in Nairobi. It has been at the center of a high-stakes legal battle involving forged documents and fraudulent claims.
